A leading Town Planning consultancy are offering an exciting opportunity for an MRTPI Senior Town Planner with a track record in dealing with projects from inception through to completion. Based in Oxford you will join their ever growing planning division and work on a number of key long term projects.
The role has become available through an internal movement therefore the case load is existing and the Town Planner must be able to hit the ground running, including being able to demonstrate experience in working to tight deadlines and RTPI guidelines.
The projects in question are based around residential and commercial issues and will also involve giving oral evidence ay Appeals and representations. You will be required to help in the preparation of reports as well as attending hearings and appeals helping to navigate the client through the planning process. You will from time to time need to attend site/client visits but will also be able to work from home to help complete the task.
The Senior Town Planner will have a minimum of 4 years' commercial experience in Town Planning projects and have a wide variety of planning experience. Knowledge of dealing with both the private and public sector would be beneficial and ideally as mentioned you would have achieved your full MRTPI membership.
