Job Details
MAIN DUTIES
- To design highway works including the use of AutoCad and MX.
- To design surface water drainage, including the use of WinDes.
- To prepare detailed bills of quantities, estimates.
- To prepare works specifications and project information.
- Compile design risk assessment and management measures.
- To liaise with statutory undertakers to arrange diversion/protection works to accommodate new scheme.
Prior qualification and experience as follows:
- HND/HNC or equivalent qualification plus significant relevant experience.
- IT literate, including the use of MX, Autocad and WinDes (drainage design).
- Membership of a relevant professional body desirable.
- Experience of The Specification of Highway Works, Method of Measurement for Highway Works and New Engineering Contract Forms of Contract.
