Senior Planner - Birmingham

The Role

One of the UK's largest Town Panning consultancies is looking to further expand their central Birmingham office with the appointment of an ambitious and driven Senior Planner to work on projects across the city centre and the largest Midlands region.

You will be assisting Associates and Directors in the delivery of large-scale and complex projects across numerous sectors including student accommodation, affordable housing, mixed-used schemes and strategic projects. You will be meeting with clients, managing junior colleagues and attending sites visits as part of your daily tasks alongside many more responsibilities.

About You

As a Senior Planner, you will be an experienced Town Planner with MRTPI membership, having worked in the private sector. Ideally you will have 4 years' experience and have a fantastic understanding of the UK planning system alongside strong contacts across Birmingham and the Midlands.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and be comfortable with chairing meetings, speaking publicly and formulating a strong argument for positive development across the capital.
