Job Details
Vivid are currently working with a local authority based in Essex to find a Principal Planning Officer to join their busy Development Management team on an initial 6 month contract, with a view for extension beyond this.
The role will involve dealing with a mixed caseload of applications, including some large scale majors as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of dealing with large scale major applications
- Experience of doing so within a Local Planning Authority
- A driving licence and access to a car
For the role, the authority can offer attractive rates of £40-£50/hr depending on experience. They are also willing to negotiate a pattern of home working or compressed hours.
