Our close client is a leading national development consultancy specialising in planning, design and environment with offices throughout the UK. They are on the lookout for an Associate Planner to join their successful and growing Leeds office to manage a number of complex projects for a range of blue-chip clients as well as local landowners and local authorities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6-7 years experience and will be a MRTPI. Previous private consultancy experience is also desirable.

As an Associate Planner your duties will include:

·         Managing a wide and diverse range of client instructions on a number of complex projects

·         Engaging in business development through bid preparation and networking with existing and proposed clients

·         Mentoring junior staff members

·         Undertaking site development appraisals and planning assessments

The salary for this role will be negotiable depending on level of experience
