Planner/Senior Planner | Nottingham | Independent Firm
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading independent planning firm who are seeking Planners and Senior Planners to join the team in Nottingham.
With multiple offices across the UK, this successful consultancy have an impressive portfolio of projects and a strong national presence.
They are currently seeking talented Planners to join the team, assisting on a range of projects alongside the Planning Director and Senior level members of the team.
The successful candidate will become part of this personable, close knit and busy team to work within all aspects of the planning process from inception through to completion including: preparing planning applications and appeals, leading on public consultations, strategic land searching and local plan promotion.
Some key responsibilities will include:
* Providing advice on planning and development matters across multiple sectors
* Preparing planning applications for both strategic and immediate sites, of varying degrees of complexity
* Being involved with the commercial aspects of housing development, negotiating S106 agreements and liaising with landowners, local authorities and agents.
