Senior Policy Officer

Our client in the Hertfordshire area is looking for an experienced Senior Policy Planner to join their Local Authority planning department on an initial 3-month contract.

The council require help in developing and progressing their Local Plans.

This role requires someone to deal with the master planning of strategic sites being brought forward through the new Local Plan. You will be required to aid the delivery of infrastructure including a strategic Green Corridor; someone with experience of bringing a Local Plan through to examination is particularly important.

 
The offices are easily located from London and the Home Counties.

You will need a degree in planning and ideally have experience of working on major development projects from a policy perspective in an Local Planning Authority.

Carrington West Pay Rate – £38-£43 Per Hour
