Principal Planner/Principal Development Manager

My client based in London is searching for a Principal Planner/Principal Development Manager.  

The successful candidate must have good experience of dealing with the public. They must have experience and a record of achievement in field(s) related to the relevant professional disciplines of the post.  They must have sound experience of operational, technical and policy issues relevant to the area of work for this post conducted within a fast paced performance driven environment. 

You must have strong experience of handling customer queries and of writing medium to high complexity reports, correspondence, briefing notes and similar documentation giving operational technical, policy or strategic information.  They must have experience of reporting and presenting to Committee, Forums, strategic groups or similar bodies.  They must have sound experience in using and developing web related communication, communication initiatives and charters.  They must be able to work with minimal supervision and effectively manage diverse workloads.

A clean driving licence is essential to undertake site visits using one of the Council's pool cars. Once the postholder has settled in and knows the systems the council are willing to allow working from home one day a week.

Pay rate is between £40-£45ph but if the successful candidate has more experience we are willing to negotiate.
