Town Planner | Manchester | Planning and Development Consultancy
Salary: £24,000 - £32,000
Our client is a successful and established private planning and development consultancy, who are searching for an ambitious and experienced Town Planner to join their illustrious team of planning professionals in their Manchester Office. This firm has always set one ultimate goal, to become to the number one choice for any client looking for planning advice in the UK. They encompass this passion and drive into every application and development they complete, whilst also providing expertise, dynamism and tenacity in abundance.
The Successful Town Planner must hold the following experience:
- An RTPI or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of planning experience within a private consultancy or a local authority
- A general knowledge and understanding of Manchester and the surrounding area (not imperative).
The role will include the following duties:
- Liaising and negotiating with planning officers, architects, consultants, third parties.
- Responsibility for preparing planning appraisals for each new potential acquisition.
- Undertaking research and analysis in preparing due diligence for potential acquisition sites including but not limited to planning policy and planning history including on neighbouring sites.
- Investing in the development of a range of sites and projects and assessing sites for development suitability.
