My client is one of the UK's leading town planning consultancies and is renowned for their technical excellence, innovation and project delivery. They are a multi disciplinary practice enjoying considerable success, working with developers, landowners, business operators and public sector bodies. They are currently looking to take on board a skilled all-rounded Town Planner.



The role will involve working on a range of projects from initial site appraisal through to completion and delivery. The workload will be wide ranging and responsibilities will include drafting policies, gathering evidence and conducting sustainability appraisals. You will also be involved in negotiations with applicants, dealing with appeals and the provision of an advisory service to staff, members and the public, with regard to complex planning matters.



You will hold an RTPI recognised planning qualification and demonstrate experience in a relevant field of work. You will also be an excellent communicator, able to work to a high professional standard, and have the ability to motivate yourself and other member of their team.
