My client has a long track record providing high level advice on planning matters and development projects to a range of clients. The business has built enviable relationships with many types of clients focussing on a broad range of sectors including retail, residential, commercial and industrial, leisure and tourism and infrastructure.
Due to ongoing success, my client is set for another strong year, which will see the company grow further in the coming 3 to 6 months. Due to significant workloads of exciting projects, my client is seeking an Associate Level Planner to join their established team in Central London.
You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality planning advice and support to private and public-sector clients as part of a professional and commercial team of experts.
Typical duties include:
*Preparing robust and persuasive strategies and reports
*Critically reviewing and evaluating development schemes
*Provide advice and liaise effectively with clients and other consultants
*Provide guidance to junior staff
*Give effective and persuasive oral presentations to clients, at public meetings or planning committees
*Preparing and delivering fee proposal
*Ensuring positive outcomes behalf of clients
You should be MRTPI qualified. My client is seeking as an ambitious and motivated individual (who is keen to meet the challenges of working in a highly commercial, professional consultancy practice.
You should have significant planning expertise, ideally upwards of six years. Your planning skills should demonstrate excellent project management skills, good financial awareness and a track record in business development. My client works across all sectors of planning and you will have the opportunity to experience a diverse portfolio of projects, working with prestigious clients and the very best planning professionals.
