Principal Planning Officer - 3 days home working - £40+ ph

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner or seasoned Principal to improve their work-life balance alongside working in a well-oiled team.



Need for the role - As a requirement to plug a gap in their current Development Management team whilst the Local Authority recruit permanently.

What you will be doing - you will manage a plethora of complex and major development proposals - including those associated with Listed Building Consent, Demolition Notices, Lawful Development Certificates - alongside negotiating S106 agreements. You will also have the chance to hold delegated responsibility for signing off householder approvals and other minor applications.

Terms of contract - This will be an initial 6 month contract with the opporutnity to extend for 12-18 months. This post will be inside IR35.



The Successful Candidate

You will ideally have Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), be qualified to degree level in Town Planning or a relevant discipline and have proficiency in dealing with major and complex development proposals.
