Funding Negotiator - Team Leader - Oxfordshire

I am currently working with a client in Oxfordshire, who is keen to bring on-board an experienced Funding Negotiator. Offering an long term contract and a negotiable rate. The client is looking for the potential candidate to start as soon as possible and be able to hit the ground running.

Based in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this area is a stunning place to work.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Work with developers to secure funding for new and on-going developments.
• Work across all departments of the authority, covering Highways, Education and Planning.
• Work on Section 106's.
• Carry out analysis of the current and new developments.
• Prepare negotiation documentation for developers.
• Provide professional advice and training on proceedings to the public, Members and other professionals

The prospective candidate should:

• Have previous Local Authority experience, but not essential
• Be RTPI accredited or RTPI eligible
• Be driven and focused
• Have experience of funding negotiations
• Hold a degree in a relevant field.

The role is a long term contract, with some level of home working will be offered. The rate is negotiable depending on experience.
