Planning & Administration Officer
Are you looking for your first step on the ladder in your career or are you an existing Planning Administrator/Technician looking for a new challenge? We have a unique opportunity with an Oxfordshire based Town Council as a Planning & Administration Officer.
The Council are looking for someone to take the lead role in providing planning advice to the Council and its Committees, and a specialist administrative resource to enable them to operate ethically, legally and to the highest standards in their decision making process.
Your primary role will be to manage the work of the monthly Planning Committee and lead on all planning policy and development control matters for the Council. You will also provide administrative support to all Committees/Sub-Committees and Member/Officer Working Groups, including attendance at evening meetings and a general administrative resource to enable the Town Council to operate efficiently in the provision of services.
The post would suit a someone looking to qualify as a professional planning officer. They can offer a training package to support your development towards RTPI membership.
