This plan allows for new housing at higher densities with the proposal for some exceptional circumstances sites in the Green Belt, which will lead to some interesting cases to work with.
Our District is unique and special. Our Councillors and residents have high expectations and so do we. Sevenoaks is more than 90% Green Belt. We have world class tourist attractions, including Hever and Chartwell (Winston Churchill’s home) to name just two. We’re one of the safest places in the country with good schools and an excellent quality of life, yet we’re just half an hour from central London by train.
