Our client are seeking a Planner to join their growing team in Manchester. The planning team undertakes a challenging array of projects including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the North West on behalf of clients that include developers, house builders and public sector organisations. The planning team has an excellent track record of success across the region and the team form a crucial part of one of the UK's leading property consultants.
Your main duties as a Town Planner will be:
* Preparing high quality planning applications followed by timely submission
* Defining your work with a solution driven approach
* Preparing well timed consultative appraisals
* Liaising with clients; including developers, house builders and public sector organisations
* Organise and participate in public consultations
* Preparing well-structured appeals
* Leading small scale and assisting on medium and large projects
The ideal Town Planner will have:
* An RTPI accredited Bachelors degree and/or Masters degree
* Demonstrable work experience within the public or private sectors
* An eagerness to learn and achieve MRTPI status
* A team player mentality
* Genuine interest and passion for the built environment
