Senior Town Planner
Southampton
£30,000 to £45,000 + Bonus + CPD opportunities
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a detail conscious and accurate Senior Town Planner to join one the UKs best and distinguished consultancies. The firm works across a wide range of planning sectors, with a particular focus on large scale residential and mixed use schemes across the region.
The Senior Planner position has arisen due to organic growth of the company and the increasing workload for the planning team. You will join an established group of Planners, with over 150 Chartered Town Planners across the company as a whole. Our client will also consider candidates that are working through their APC or close to submission.
The Senior Planner will;
- Be MRTPI qualified or close to submission
- Have experience preparing planning applications, including planning statements
- Be able to write complex reports, interpreting data and making clear and relevant recommendations
- Contribute to the preparation/editing of design & access statements, ustainability statements and other planning supporting documents
- Hold private sector experience
- Be an ambitious individual, looking to progress to Associate Planner level and beyond
In return, the Senior Planner will be compensated with a full benefits package including a quarterly bonus scheme. You will also have the rare opportunity to progress to Associate level within a short period of time, playing a key role in the direction of the planning team.
