Associate Planner | London | Development Consultancy
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established, market-leading Planning and Development Consultancy situated in Central London. This consultancy has over 10 offices spanning across the UK and holds an unparalleled reputation for providing outstanding advice to their extensive list of high-profile clientele. They are looking for a talented and ambitious Associate Planner to become a part of their team of planning experts, who are renowned for producing standards of work that could rival any top planning team in the country.
The successful Associate Planner will hold the following experience:
- An MRTPI or equivalent qualification;
- At least 8 years planning experience working within a private consultancy or a local authority (preferably both);
- A full UK driver's licence.
- A general knowledge and understanding of the city of London and the surrounding area.
The duties of the role include:
- Shaping and assessing the case for development projects, including: determining planning strategies;
- Development plan representations;
- Planning project management;
- Take a lead on providing advice and guidance on planning and land use to a variety of clients including leading house builders, developers, land promoters, investment institutions, retailers and other occupiers, as well as local planning authorities throughout all stages of the planning process.
