Senior Planner/Planning Manager - London Developer

Blayze Group are thrilled to be working in collaboration with a leading residential and mixed-use developer based in London.

Boasting a significant and recognisable portfolio, paired with a strong future pipeline my client are now looking for a talented and motivated Senior Planner/Planning Manager to join their ranks. As a vital member of the team you will be involved with complex major schemes that require innovative solutions.

Your main duties as Planning Manager will be:

• Assisting with sites from acquisition
• Performing research to support the purchase of sites
• Working with other departments across the business from pre-construction up to Board level
• Liaising with local authorities, external consultants and third parties
• Preparing planning appraisals, planning applications and planning statements
• Creating presentations for pre-application meetings, public consultation and planning committees

The Planning Manager will need:

• To have an MRTPI qualification or be in the process of applying for MRTPI status
• Have a strong experience of working on residential schemes
• Have a strong commercial mindset with construction and development market knowledge
• Work to a high standard with a strong eye for detail
