Senior Town Planner | Town Planning Consultancy
Reading, Berkshire
£32,000 £40,000 + Bens
Leading planning and design consultancy actively looking for a Senior Town Planner to join an existing team of planners and help head up the division specifically with assisting in an existing project covering the Berkshire area. Recognised for the standard of business that they offer you will be receive specific training where required as well as an exciting career path to take your career constantly forward.
To work on a number of projects but primarily one that covers a large regeneration project. You will cover all stages of the planning process finding cost effective and sustainable solutions to meet the client's needs. In addition you will act as a mentor to other members of staff making sure that all work is in line with RTPI legislation. Work will involve being on site where required but you will also be able to work from home in order to keep in line with all deadlines.
You hold a minimum of 5 years' commercial experience and have a proven track record as a RTPI Town Planner. This can be from either the Private or Public sector and can cover various sector knowledge such as Development Control, Residential or Renewable Energy.
If applicants have a full driving license that would be ideal but you will be able to use public transport in order to reach the main developments.
