As we head into the new year a fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Planner to join one of the leading planning teams in the West End.



The consultancy undertakes a challenging workload on behalf of clients such as renowned developers, house builders, wealthy individuals, major retailers and local planning authorities. The diversity of client ensures that the Senior Planner will be challenged with schemes across London and the wider South East ensuring you get to lead on and assist with development that will enhance your skill-set.



The ideal Senior Planner will be able to demonstrate their experience of handling projects across the city with residential and commercial experience being beneficial. Ideally, you will have gained private sector experience, but this is not essential, our client will be looking for you be able to communicate your commercial awareness. Chartered membership of the RTPI is required for the Senior Planner as well as also possessing excellent written and oral communication skills.



Typical requirements will include:

• Assisting with and leading on numerous planning applications
• Mentoring junior team members
• Liaising extensively with clients, stakeholders and Planning Officers
• Submitting planning appraisals, fee proposals and other documentation/reports
• Policy representations
• Developing client relationships, although no new business is expected
