-Arun DC are seeking X2 Senior Planning Officers to join their busy Area Teams, dealing with a variety of urban, rural and coastal planning issues. This is an opportunity to deal with the full breadth of planning application types in a challenging but rewarding District.
-They are also looking for X1 Senior Planning Officer to join their Strategic Applications Team, dealing with applications for major housing developments (300 – 2,500 homes) and large-scale employment allocations. Arun is undergoing a significant transformation with the recently adopted Local Plan seeking to secure the delivery of over 20,000 homes by 2031 as well as significant employment growth.

Requirements for applicants
You will need to have a degree in a planning related subject (such as architecture, geography, geology, landscape architecture, economics) and recognised town planning qualification allowing membership to the Royal Town Planning Institute.
The salary on offer is up to £30,756 + £5,000 Market Supplement.
