Super Major Applications Case Officer

I'm currently working with a Local Authority in the North West who are looking for a Principal Planner to join them for an initial 3 month contract.



Duties will include:

• Managing complex issues and resources to meet the needs of customers.

• Providing appropriate specialist technical advice in connection with super-major level development proposals.

• Maintaining and nurturing collaborative relationships with other teams that support the delivery of annual plans.

• Representing the authority at internal and external meetings.

• Preparing responses in relation to Freedom of Information Act requests.

Proven experience of dealing with large-scale major applications is essential. You will ideally be MRTPI and must hold a degree relative to Town Planning. An up-to-date and thorough understanding of local government issues would be highly beneficial.
