Policy Planning Manager - Outside IR35

I am currently working with a Lincolnshire-based Local Authority who is in need of a motivated and experienced Policy Manager for an initial 3 months at a competitive pay rate.

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing the Policy Planning team ensuring timely and accurate reports and recommendations on planning policy issues;
• Providing support and advice to the development management team on strategically important planning applications, enforcement and appeals;
• Attending planning committees and various public meetings; and
• Keeping up to date with current legislation and policy changes.

About You:

You will have proven experience in the following -

• Current planning legislation, and issues relating to local plan preparation;
• Leading in the delivery of Local Plan documents, including ability to use your initiative to shape the strategic direction of the plan;
• Ability to prioritise, manage and delegate tasks; and
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
