Planner / Senior Planner

Our client who are a leading Planning Consultancy working with blue-chip companies and leading organisations are looking for two Planner or a Senior Planners. These Two fantastic opportunities are now available to join their growing planning consultancy hub in the Midlands.

If you are an ambitious planner and have 1 to 5 years’ experience of working within Planning and a relevant qualification, and are looking to take the next step in your career then this could be the right career move for you.

You will come with consultancy perspective of the planning process and would be working alongside a team of experienced and skilled town planners. This will allow you opportunity of working with clients on delivering major and minor developments across the UK in different sectors.  From securing planning permissions and land allocations, to negotiating S106 Agreements and conditions, you will be given the opportunity to be a key part of their business.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with clients
• Assisting with preparing planning applications and appeals
• Advising on development potential of land and buildings
• Providing policy advice and research
• Drafting representations to plan consultations and examinations

Experience required:

• Membership of RTPI or working towards membership
• 1-5 years’ experience in a Planning role (e.g. within local government, consultancy or development industry)
• Relevant Planning qualification
