We are seeking a Deputy Team Leader to play a major role in shaping the future of Canterbury district as we embark on implementing the newly adopted Local Plan, which has an ambitious growth agenda.

The District is a wonderful place to live and work, with many historic and natural assets, including the Canterbury World Heritage Site and the coastal towns of Herne Bay and Whitstable. We are looking for experienced professionals who are highly motivated, enthusiastic and want to expand their professional and managerial skills and knowledge to shape the future of the district.

Essential Requirements

  • You will hold a relevant degree, be MRTPI or able to obtain this immediately
  • Be IT literate
  • Highly motivated
  • Able to use your own initiative and be an excellent communicator.
  • This post requires you to have a full driving license and own transport or requires travelling to sites in a timely manner equivalent to motor travel in your own car.
