Senior Planner

I'm currently working with a Local Authority in North Yorkshire who are looking for a Senior Planning Officer to join them for an initial 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Duties will include:

• Coordinate and independently carry out site visits and prepare detailed reports.
• Liaise with members of the public and provide planning advice.
• Advise planning enforcement teams about retrospective planning approval and variation to conditions.
• Dealing with a varied case-load, ranging from small majors to complex minors.

You will ideally be RTPI chartered and must hold a degree relative to Town Planning. My client are willing to negotiate on pay rates for the right candidate and can offer flexible working arrangements.
