Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

Due to an increased workload, this established Real Estate group are looking to appoint an experienced Planner to work out of their Leicester offices. The team currently deliver expert advice on a range of planning and development issues for their clients and deal with a variety of large scale and complex development proposals and smaller scale householder developments.

Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally candidates will have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant planning discipline and be a Chartered Member of the RTPI, candidates working towards this will also be considered. A minimum of one year post-qualification town planning experience (within the private or public sector) is essential for the role.

Duties:

• Advising on the development potential of land and buildings
• Assisting with the preparation of planning applications and appeals for a variety of residential, retail, commercial and industrial developments
• Providing policy advice and research
• Drafting representations to plan consultations
• Liaising with clients
