We are looking for a talented Senior Planner, who can provide advice to a variety of clients including leading house builders, developers, landowners, infrastructure providers, and investment institutions as well as local planning authorities.



You will hold 4 or more year's relevant experience in either a private or public sector planning role and ideally have experience dealing with projects varying in scale and complexity.



Responsibilities

You will have proven experience in the following work areas; planning applications and appeals; site appraisals; planning strategies; development plan representations and providing advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of the planning process.

You will be expected to show an excellent standard of written and spoken English, with good analytical skills and interpersonal skills. The role will require working on a number of large-scale complex projects, so a proven ability to manage your own time, workload and problem solve is critical.



Qualifications

Minimum requirements are:

• at least 2.1 at first degree level;
• RTPI accredited town planning qualification. A RICS accredited qualification (planning & development route) or IEMA accredited qualification would also be acceptable. This will be at Master's level.
• MRTPI qualified.
