Senior Town Planner/Associate

Your new company
Your new company is a global design and engineering company that undertakes major heritage, pharmaceutical, workplaces and residential schemes amongst. The firm works on complicated, landmark projects around the world including here in the UK where they have recently won a prestigious, historic scheme in Central London. The planning team is keen to attract further experienced planners to carry out the work they have and develop into a strategic personality contributing to the overall strategy of the planning division.

Your new role
You will lead on the firm's projects and will be responsible for a wide range of applications as well as providing pre-application advice planning applications. Your role will involve site appraisals for major clients and you will also work on new residential and commercial schemes alongside the firm's directors. Your role will involve consultations with clients as your role will be client facing and mentoring junior planners.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree qualified town planner with RTPI membership accompanied by a proven track record of dealing with medium or large-scale planning applications. You will be confident in speaking directly with clients in planning consultations and presentations and thus, your excellent verbal and written communication as well as IT skills will be essential for success.
