Associate Town Planner | Northampton | Private Planning |Consultancy
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of the leading Private Planning Consultancies in the UK, who are searching for an experienced and talented Associate Town Planner to join their team of planning experts based in Northampton.
This consultancy is renowned for their unique and dynamic approach to planning, and paired with a quality of service that is second to none, they have created a perfect business model, designed to put the needs of their clients before everything else.
The successful Associate Planner will be expected to hold the following experience:
- An MRTPI or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5+ years of planning experience working within either a private planning consultancy or local authority (ideally private).
- A general knowledge and understanding of the city of Northampton and the surrounding area (not essential).
The role will include the following duties:
- Shaping and assessing the case for development projects, including: determining planning strategies;
- Preparing planning applications, appeals and site appraisals;
- Development plan representations;
- Planning project management;
- Take a lead on providing advice and guidance on planning and land use to a variety of clients including leading house builders, developers, land promoters, investment institutions, retailers and other occupiers, as well as local planning authorities throughout all stages of the planning process.
