We have a great opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our client’s team, based in the centre of Birmingham!
The Opportunity
The Senior Town Planner role has arisen due to significant growth in Planning work. You will be given the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of Planning and work closely with the Planning Partners. Within this role the Senior Planner will focus on planning advice within the company’s priority areas (residential, commercial and retail/leisure), supporting the team’s Business Plan to develop a client portfolio and generate revenue.
The Senior Planner will work closely with clients to develop these relationships, ensuring you are giving professional advice, which is accurate and within the set deadline within the specific projects. As well as this, the Senior Planner will be required to develop an internal and external network, seeking new business opportunities and working closely with other members of the wider team.
The Person
- Rounded experience of general town planning skills – not restricted to a narrow practice area
- An understanding of business development and client relationship management
- Demonstrable technical competence in areas relevant to role
- Demonstrable understanding of market and local knowledge
- Knowledge of the real estate industry sector
- Business and report writing experience
- MRTPI qualified (Strongly desirable)
