Job Details
Our client is looking for an experienced and skilled individual to join their planning team based in the City of London, working predominantly on the holiday and home parks sector as well as other tourism and leisure sectors (hotels, pubs, golf courses, attractions).
Day-to-day, you will be undertaking planning appraisals with regards to the likelihood of gaining planning consent for tourism and leisure development proposals. You will also research, prepare and submit these applications, and manage any appeals in the case of rejected proposals. As well as this, you will write fee tender proposals in order to win new work for the company.
The successful candidate will ideally be chartered (MRTPI) with a planning related degree, or working towards accreditation. A strong candidate will have planning experience in both the private and public sectors, although this isn’t an essential attribute.
The salary will be competitive for a Senior Planning role and based on experience.
If you are interested in the role or have any enquiries, drop me a line at henry@varnomross.com, or call me directly on 020 3745 7074.
