Job Details
A local authority in Cumbria are looking to recruit a Senior Planning Officer to their Development Management team on a contract basis.
Your role will predominantly involve working on a mixed caseload of Planning Applications, mostly householders, change of use apps and infill dwellings.
This contract will be for an initial term of 6 months, and there is a possibility of extension beyond this. There is the option to work from home a few days a week, and also work compressed hours.
Successful candidates for all roles will have acquired practical experience as a Planner in development management with a proven track record processing applications, with a Town Planning related degree or diploma, and excellent written and communication skills.
The rate and caseload allocated for this position will strongly depend on your own relevant experience, ability and skill set.
