Join our newly established Place Department for exciting opportunities to lead on the management and operational requirements of Enfield’s Community Infrastructure Levey (CIL) and section 106 developer contributions (S106).

At Enfield we are looking for professionals with enthusiasm and knowledge to lead in a range of built environment disciplines but in particular on helping negotiate and secure vital infrastructure. Take responsibility for the effective implementation and monitoring of CIL and Section 106 agreements and manage the collection and subsequent distribution of related financial developer contributions arising from both.

Enfield has both huge growth and transformation aspirations, with exciting planning and regeneration projects such as our flagship Meridian Water development and the prospect of securing Crossrail 2 and future growth in our borough. 

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be passionate about planning in Outer London with a track record of achievement in a comparable role and have the skills to deal with complex strategic infrastructure issues. 

The role will involve delivering high quality, robust and transparent decision making within tight time frames on matters relating to S106 legal agreements to ensure that the Planning Division is recognised as delivering an excellent planning service for all our customers. The post holder will also be expected to take a lead in developing planning policy and guidance in relation to infrastructure planning and other policy areas as the Local Plan and Infrastructure Delivery Plan are reviewed and revised.
