Penguin Recruitment are delighted to represent a highly established planning consultancy who are actively seeking an Associate Director to join their successful Bristol based team.
With a strong national presence and multiple offices located across the UK, this firm have an excellent reputation for providing expert planning assistance across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, retail, commercial, environmental, leisure, energy, infrastructure, design and mixed use developments.
Due purely out of growth, the team are seeking a commercially aware and confident Associate Director to take the lead on some of the most complex strategic developments both within Bristol, and across the wider UK. In an exciting period of expansion, this firm are seeking a dynamic individual and are able to offer a Progression path to Director for the right candidate.
The Role:
The successful Associate Director will join a friendly and personable medium sized team of Planning Consultants to offer innovative planning solutions to a variety of clients, including housebuilders, developers, private organisations and Local Authorities.
You will be adept at pushing through a range of development management focused applications, and will be experienced at taking the lead on schemes from inception to completion. You will take responsibility for supporting and encouraging junior members of staff, and will have the opportunity to liaise directly with the firm's current clients, alongside utilising your own contacts and market knowledge in a business development capacity.
The Requirement:
In order to apply for this role, you will:
* Hold an RTPI Accredited Planning Qualification
* Be fully MRTPI Qualified (or be in the process of submitting)
* Have at least 7+ years' experience in the planning sector, with a strong private sector background
* (Desirable) Have a network of South West based contacts to utilise in a new role
