Job Details
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate just leaving university to work at a fast-growing Borough Council in Sussex.
In this role, you will have the chance to build your knowledge of local authority planning and get exposure to a variety of different areas within a local authority, from Enforcement and Development Management to Policy. This role will mainly involve you processing and handling Enforcement complaints as well as minor and household planning applications however you will get exposure to what the Policy team are dealing with in regards to the local plan.
Other duties include:
- Maintain electronic application files by scanning and indexing plans as well as correspondence
- Attending site visits
- Managing and processing applications
Successful candidates will have a degree in Town & Country planning or an affiliated subject with practical experience within planning in the UK.
