Senior Town Planner
Manchester
£33,000 to £45,000 + Benefits
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a Town Planning Consultancy who are actively looking to grow their planning division and currently require a Senior Town Planner with 3-5 years post graduate experience to join their existing team and play an active part in a number of large projects across the North West.
Focusing heavily in the residential/property development sector for both private and major developers, our client have grown considerably over the last 2 years resulting in a number of awards from the industry based on cost effective service delivery and product design.
To apply the Town Planner will hold a degree and/or masters that is RTPI recognised and be currently working to or have achieved full RTPI membership. You will have exposure to all aspects of the planning process including planning statements, submitting complete applications in line with local planning guidelines as well as having experience in project interaction with the customer.
Experience working with both the public and private sector would be advantageous and if you have been involved in any mentoring that would be seen as a bonus but not essential. All Town Planners must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment or with minimal supervision where required.
In return you will be supported in gaining your full RTPI membership if required, as well as being offered a clear career path to take the lead on new projects. The Town Planner role will allow you to progress to a Senior Town Planner status and start to develop your business development skills with a full benefits package also on offer.
