Principal Town Planner
Birmingham | Planning Consultancy
Upto £40,000 + Bens
A commercially minded Principal Town Planner is sought to join an established planning team, based in their Birmingham office working on a variety of planning applications from retail, residential, commercial and mixed-use backgrounds.
The Consultancy has experienced continued success and growth and as such requires an outstanding Principal Town Planner to join their ambitious team in Birmingham. The Principal Town Planner will negotiate the resolution of planning issues, Section 106 requirements, attend site visits and planning committee meetings. You will play a key role within business development, managing your own client portfolio and bringing in new business. The Principal Town Planner will manage their own workload and have an excellent understanding of the development control process and legislation.
The Principal Town Planner will work well in a team, providing planning advice to primarily private sector clients, leading on planning applications and strategic promotions. A broad planning background with good residential experience is favoured although candidates not from this background will also be considered.
