Planning Policy Consultant – Team Leader

Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Yorkshire with their search for an experienced Planning Policy Consultant to lead their Local Plans Team on a rolling contract which will initially be set for 3 months.

My client is looking for someone who can lead the Local Plans team; to lead in the  preparation, implementation and monitoring of a range of planning documents contributing to the Council maintaining an up to date and effective Local Plan for the District, including local plan documents, supplementary planning documents and other policy and spatial planning documents and land information systems to support the Local plan and statutory/regulatory duties.

To support the implementation and monitoring of the local plan and related planning policy documents and strategies both local and regional in order to meet the corporate and districts priorities and outcomes.
To support the implementation and delivery of key development projects and programmes in line with the Local Plan

This role has been assessed as - OUTSIDE of IR35.

Very Competitive Pay Rate on offer - £50+ Per Hour - *OUTSIDE IR35*
