Planner/Senior Planner

Exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic Planner to join one of the UK's leading independent, integrated Planning and Design consultancies. This role offers a fun and rewarding work culture as well as exposure to a range of interesting/challenging projects.

JSM Associates is working exclusively with this prestigious firm to fulfil a key role within their established team in Manchester.

The position is in one of my client's core offices in Manchester. You will be joining a diverse office specialising in Planning, Urban Design, Environmental Planning, Landscape Planning and Architecture.

Due to a continually growing work load, my client's Planning team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner (2 years post graduate experience) to join their team.

The team operates nationwide and provides leading planning services to the residential, commercial, energy and infrastructure sectors.

You should have excellent written skills, be a team player, have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and be able to maintain quality under pressure.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
*Planning applications and appeals
*Developing client relationships
*Site appraisals
*Planning strategies
*Development plan representations
*Providing advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of the planning process
*Marketing and promotional work
*Supporting more senior staff

Capabilities & Qualifications
*MRTPI qualified (or working towards)
*Strong planning experience, ideally with some knowledge of Planning in Manchester
*Consultancy experience
*Strong project management skills
*Hold a full UK driving license
