Regeneration Officer (Whitehill & Bordon Team)

Full Time 37 Hours Per Week

Salary G6 £29,137 to £32,233

Whitehill & Bordon is a new community in the making, inspired by its military legacy, shaped by its current community and delivered by many dedicated partners and agencies who all share the vision to be a green, healthy and connected town. This £1 billion, 15 year collaborative and transformation place-making progamme seeks to be a once in a generation opportunity to transform the town. This will include a new town centre, 3,350 new homes, 5,500 jobs and nearly 100,000 sqm of new commercial, retail and leisure floor space and protect and enhance around 150 hectares of green space. 

The Whitehill & Bordon Team is a high performing, creative and solution-focussed team that works with drive and passion to ensure the regeneration of Whitehill & Bordon is as successful as it can be. There are two exciting opportunities to work within the Whitehill & Bordon Team at East Hampshire District Council. The successful applicants will work alongside officers from across the Council, Elected Members and stakeholders to support the delivery of a range of Whitehill & Bordon regeneration projects and initiatives. There may also be opportunities to work in other parts of East Hampshire.

We are looking for people with the same passion, belief and commitment to regeneration as we have. Applicants must demonstrate their skills in project management, communication and stakeholder management. They will be expected to think creatively and deliver with minimal supervision. There will be a requirement to hold a full driving licence.
