Following a restructure, our forward-thinking and commercially focused planning department is looking for dynamic, proactive and experienced people to join our team. With aims for Milton Keynes to double in size to 500,000, by 2050, now is an exciting time to join a department that will lead it all.

Key Duties:
- Managing a caseload of the more contentious, complex and / or strategic developments in the Borough;
- Deputising for the Development Management Manager and other members of the management team;
- Acting as lead officer for multi-disciplinary, multi-agency pre-application submissions and planning applications for strategically important development proposals;
- Championing productivity within the team ensuring that all team members’ productivity is monitored and appropriate interventions occur; and
- Supporting and mentoring the members of the Development Management team.
