Job Details
One of the home counties fast growing boroughs has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Policy Planner.
This role will sit within the Area Growth Team and will entail working on Major projects centred around new developments being built in the council growth areas. This role will commonly include producing area based DPD documents, site allocations DPD’s for new developments and dealing with s106 agreements.
Other duties that tie into this process will include finalising CIL charging schedules, In conjunction with having responsibility for updating and reviewing the existing Local Plan documents across key areas such as housing, infrastructure delivery, employment land and open space etc.
The key duties in this post include:
- Drafting technical planning policy documents in conjunction with updating and revising existing documents.
- Progressing the developments in marked growth areas
- Dealing with s106 agreements
