Associate/Associate Director | Exeter | Established Consultancy
Are you an ambitious Principal or Associate Director who is on the lookout for a fresh challenge at a dynamic multidisciplinary consultancy?
If so, Penguin Recruitment are delighted to represent an established planning consultancy in their search for a talented individual with extensive experience within the planning sector to join the team. Located within the picturesque South West region, this firm offers a diverse range of town planning services and have strong relationships with a number of clients, with multiple offices offering consultancy services across the UK.
With an ambitious and exciting strategic vision, this successful firm have an excellent reputation for retaining a happy and valued work force, and have a strong culture of progression and internal promotion.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Join a specialist planning consultancy offering expert advice across the residential, commercial, retail, housing, mixed use and design sectors
- Prepare major planning applications and appeals
- Offer planning assistance to both clients and members of the public
- Provide support to more junior members of staff
- Negotiate successfully with both applicants and agents
- Have a positive involvement in the consultancy's business development, in order to maintain a high quality standard across all planning projects
- Join a firm who offers an exciting route to Progression and potential opportunities for the right individual to eventually take on line management and even an Equity Partnership role.
In order to apply for this role, you must:
- Have an RTPI Accredited Qualification
- Hold MRTPI status (or have the ability to backdate your experience)
- Have at least 3 years post membership experience (public or private sector experience both relevant)
- Have a full UK Driving Licence
Individuals with contacts or a client base from either within (or outside of) the South West region will also be welcomed (although not necessary).
