Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with a land promoter in Yorkshire on the hire of a smart and driven Graduate Planner to join the highly successful team in York.
Our client works with landowners to maximise the potential of their land, utilising land for commercial, residential or industrial uses. The team have a wealth of experience in the development industry and are extremely successful at developing projects with an industry-leading planning success rate.
The company work closely a planning consultancy and architectural practice allowing them to offer their clients a fully comprehensive service. In this role your responsibilities will include;
-Identifying sites suitable for residential development
-In-depth reviews of sites for their development potential
-Research to identify councils 5 year housing land supply position
-Monitoring planning appeals across the country
-Keeping up to date with planning changes
-Supporting colleagues as required
In order to apply you will;
-Hold a RTPI accredited degree (2:1 or better)
-Previous experience desirable but not essential
-Good communication skills
-Attention to detail
-Good written and spoken English
-Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
