My client is a leading Legal and Professional Services business specialising in Town Planning. Due to an exciting and rapidly increasing period of success they are seeking Planners, Associates and a Director to massively expand their Oxford Planning team. With an impressive list of house-builders, developers and landowners, you will cover a range of small to large development schemes as well as private individual work for residential, commercial and town centre redevelopments.

As Director you will be leading the Oxford planning team and managing all aspects of growth. Advising on the full range of planning matters, from the preparation and submission of planning applications, management of the planning process, submission of planning appeals to dealing with listed building issues, your role will be to lead from the front whilst mentoring and growing the local team.



Your main responsibilities will include -

* The ability to win new work whilst maintaining strong existing client relationships

* Driving strategic initiatives, and supporting the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals of the business

* Covering a range of disciplines including

* Managing the application appeal process including the appointment of counsel and acting as expert witness at public inquiries and hearings

In addition to the above requirement my client is also seeking Planners of all levels from Assistant to Associate to manage a varied portfolio of work.

Your main responsibilities will include -

* Preparation of case scale planning applications and the submission and negotiation of Planning appeals

* Supporting the senior members of the team to drive the planning services forward

* Negotiating with various agencies and stakeholders through a number of complex planning applications

* Representing clients at Local Plan examination hearings and holding public enquiries
