Principal Planner | Berkshire | Policy or DM
Our client are an established multidisciplinary firm who are on the lookout for an experienced Principal Planner to join their team in the Berkshire region.
This successful firm work across the residential, development, urban design, land promotion, retail, environmental and infrastructure sectors to deliver excellent planning solutions to clients across the UK.
Having experienced an exciting level of growth and expansion this market leading firm now require a confident Principal Planner with either policy or development management experience to take the lead on several exciting projects.
As a member of the team, you will work across a variety of planning projects, to:
* Prepare planning applications and appeals
* Attend site appraisals and assess sites for development suitability
* Provide pre-application advice and guidance
* Offer strategic planning advice on development and residential schemes
* Draft Local Plan Representations
* Liaise with neighbourhood planning groups
* Negotiate with Local Authorities and government bodies
The Reward will involve:
The successful Principal Planner will receive a highly competitive salary, alongside an excellent benefits package, which will include a car allowance and private healthcare, alongside a host of other benefits.
In order to apply for this role, you will have:
An RTPI Accredited planning qualification, and you will be MRTPI Qualified. You will hold at least 5 years within both the public and private sector, and will (ideally) have a thorough knowledge of both development management and planning policy.
