An unbelievable opportunity has arisen for a Planning officer/ Senior Planner in the Kent area. This position will involve playing a pivotal role in managing a combination of minor to complex medium and major applications. Caseloads will commonly include small-scale residential applications, mixed-use, commercial, retail and associated community infrastructure etc.

Key responsibilities include;

• Facilitate close liaison with developers, architects and external consultants through paid pre-application meetings.
• Draft detailed delegated reports and present at the committee when required
• Conduct pre-application meetings and engage in the negotiation and discharge of conditions.

Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as a Planning Officer or Senior Planner in Development Management with proven track record processing applications.

Applicants must have a degree in Town & Country Planning and excellent written and communication skills.
