Planning Assistant

I'm currently working with a Local Authority in Hertfordshire who are looking for an Assistant Planner to join them for an initial 6 month contract, with the likely potential of extension. This is a great opportunity for a graduate to kick-start their career in a friendly and supportive Local Authority Planning Department.

About the role

You will be required to assist the Planning Team on all stages of the application process, including validations. You will be expected to carry out site-visits, and will eventually be expected to be competent processing householder applications.

The Successful Candidate

You will ideally hold a degree relative to Town Planning, and have some experience working in a Local Authority Planning Department. My client are looking for someone who is keen to be part of the team and progress their career, and who has a proactive attitude to work.
